14 In the wilderness they had an insatiable craving[a] for meat;[b]
they challenged God[c] in the wastelands.
15 He granted their request,
then struck them with a disease.[d]
16 In the camp they resented[e] Moses,
and Aaron, the Lord’s holy priest.[f]
